Koraput is a humid district in the Eastern Ghats of Orissa with a vast general landrace population which consists of both purple and green phenotypes. We have selected the omnipresent purple phenotypes of this tropical sativa for further preservation. The collection site/Location is famous for its Cashews and Black Pepper.
